Tanabata Festival

1) I went to nihon machi for lunch today. It was a beautiful day. I couldn't resist not to take a picture of the sky.






2) A picture of me from the japanese tower. I dont know the symbolic of the tower, maybe world peace? I have no idea. I know it's peaceful and good fung shui. Then, I went inside Kintetsu mall which like a small little tokyo. You can find coffee shop, bread or pastry shop, grocery, restaurants, car gadgets, and interesting japanese stores.




4) Ha! what a conincidence! I found out today is Tanabata Festival. Now I have a reason to blog about this place. Tanabata is a festival takes place at 7th days in 7 month of the year. The legandary stroy is about two stars Altair and Vega, which are usually separated from each other by the milky way, are able to meet on this day. Japanese celebrates Tanabata Festival by writing down their wishes on a piece of paper. Then, they hang it on a bamboo tree in the hope that their wishes will come true. Women or girls on this day will dress in Ukata traditional dress. It's a less formal japanese kimono. I took a picture with that girl in Ukata dress. She looks so japanese!
