Summer Travel
Is it possible to travel 3 places in 2 weeks? My 2 sisters and mom from out of town are visiting middle of July. They want to visit 3 major cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas in 2 weeks. My sister, Jeannie, has been aching me to bagpack and travel all places in West Coast. Initially, we talked about visiting Seattle and Oregon. But, I don't think we have time to cover northwest. However, my plan is to spend a few days in San Francisco. I'd show them around downtown Union Square, take a cable car ride to Fisherman's Whraf, jump on a ferry to Alcatraz, golden gate park, golden gate bridge and bay bridge, haight and Ashbury, italian and china town. Then, we'd probably head down to Vegas and spend 3-4 nights. I'm planning to bring them to world renounce Cirque De Soleil, Celine Dion's concert, Mandalay bay Spa, Grand Canyon, Fashion mall, Tao's restaurant...man, that's just so many places to go in Vegas. From Vegas, we can drive to Los Angeles and spend few days there. I don't enjoy LA very much. Beside all shoppings and disneyland, I really don know where to go. I find LA for shoppers and starstrucks...booorrinnggg!
Anyway, Is it possible to go 3 different cities in 2 weeks?

I think you can cover all these places if you have access to a Leer Jet! Besides - Las Vegas is a "playground" for Los Angelenos. Its going to take you guys at least 4-4 1/2 hours to drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles' tourist areas. Also remember during the summer time, Los Angeles beaches are just as foggy as SF Bay Area beaches - though slightly warmer (i think the fog normally burns off before 1pm) and many people in LA aren't even in town during tourist season.
